Atlet Limited was set up in 1969, based on Thame Industrial Estate. Now headed up by joint managing directors Mark Gibb and Paul Forster the company has grown to become the largest subsidiary in the Atlet Group, with a turnover of around £25 million. Atlet Limited employs around 150 people.
Today Atlet has more than 3500 customers in the UK, using around 8000 trucks.
In 2002 the decision was made to relocate to a single, purpose-designed facility on the prestigious new Thame 40 development nearby, just minutes from the M40.
Everything is now under one roof. The workshop facilities and the office complex make for much more efficient use of space. A newer, more efficient building enables more productive operation and – most important – Thame 40 has been designed to give room to expand to meet the demands of the future and to improve still further Atlet’s service to its customers.
