The most common open pallet is the EURpallet with the dimension 800x1200mm and in some countries a pallet of the same kind with the dimension 1000x1200 mm.
The open side is either the 800 or the 1000 side. The open side is possible to enter with all kind of Atlet trucks.
These pallets are normally designed for ±1000kg, the recommended width over the forks is V=560mm and with a fork length L1=1150mm.
Closed pallets 4 way entry
In some countries the so called closed pallet is quite common.
Handling of those pallets is generally not possible with straddle leg trucks.
Most common measurements are 1200 x 1000, 1200 x 1100.

Handling of those pallets is generally not possible with straddle leg stackers. Note restrictions on height from 2 sides. Not heigh enough for stackers.

Closed pallets 2 way entry
These pallets can be open or “closed” on the entry side. When closed, not possible to use narrow model high lift stackers.
Pallet measurements can vary a lot. Most common are 1200 x 1000 and 1200 x 1200.
Roll containers
Roll containers are mostly used by food distribution companies.
They are normally handled from the side where you have the goods support.
Since the rollcontainer in principle is an “open pallet”, this can be handled by most truck types.
Measurements can vary a lot.
Most common is 800 x 700 mm
Stillages
Various kinds and sizes of stillages are mostly used by the manufacturing industry.
Check that the height and width between the feet of the load carriers allow you to enter with forks (and staddle legs).
